Sweater: Old (similar from Brooks Brothers, RED Valentino or J.Crew) | Shirt: Abercrombie | Skirt: Crewcuts (runs large, also in women's sizing here) | Tights: H&M | Shoes: Via Spiga | Sunglasses: Chloe | Bag: Vintage | Necklace: Ann Taylor | Bracelets: Saks, boutique | Watch: Michael Kors
Sometimes I challenge myself to go through the items in the back of my closet and see if I can work the things that have been hiding back there into fun new outfits. I decided to give this old sweater (I think I last wore it over ten years ago) another chance. I liked how it looked with this new navy sequin skirt and some additional red and gold accessories to make the sweater look a little more polished. I think sequin skirts and big, warm sweaters are a great combination for days when you want to be cozy, but want to add a little extra sparkle to your look.
Readers, have you recently repurposed any items that you've had sitting in your closet for a while? What were they?
